The digestive system of a dog is very similar to a cat's in many ways. Their digestive systems are acidic, and these canine creatures do not have long intestines. It's not necessary for a dog that is fed a well-balanced diet to drink as much water as dogs not fed well. This is because the food provides the necessary moisture content their bodies need. Your pets will decide what they like and don't like. They will let you know because some like meat more than vegetables.
