List building is not an overnight project. It can take months to get a list the size that will make a profitable business.
It is possible to build a list overnight but the quality of that list will usually be very poor.
Building lists using faster methods like giveaways will get you the wrong type of customer. Lists built this way are usually very unresponsive.
Now I know some of you will say you have great lists from giveaways and you very well may have. But my experience has been the opposite.
Methods for building a list are many. You have Pay-Per-Click, Article Marketing, Forum Posts, Blogging, Web 20, Giveaways and many more.
Many fail because they get overwhelmed in trying to do to many things to drive traffic.
Here is the big secret, are you ready? Focus! Yes it's that simple find one method of traffic generation and stick with it till you master it.
If you came to me and asked me why you were having a hard time building a list. I would ask you what methods are you using to build your list. You see it's a trick question. Most people will answer with several different methods. I then ask them which of these methods have you mastered. Most will say none.
So choose one method and stick with that method till you have it mastered. I can guarantee that if you master a traffic generation method you will be able to build a huge list. Not only that once you master that one method you can use it on all your other promotions also.
Don't study any other information except for the one method you have chosen to master. Put it away for later. Focus on your one method. You can move on once you have it mastered.
So go now and pick your one traffic method and master it! Watch as you list grows.
