Removing Old Programs On Your Computer by Thomas Haddelin

Computers tend to fill up with various software we try. A lot of the times we don't remove the ones we don't use which uses up resources on your computer.

Some times we try a software, but find we don't actually need it. Some programs we might use once in a blue moon so leaving it takes up space.

Removing most programs can be fairly easy. Usually they come with some kind of uninstaller.

Luckily, Windows maintains a list of most of the installed programs which you can use to remove them. Click Start, then Control Panel.

Once the Control Panel window is open, find and click Add/Remove Programs. This should open the Add/Remove Programs window.

Scroll thru this list, removing each program you don't want any more. Go thru each one in the list.

Some times the uninstaller may ask if you would like to restart your computer to save the changes. It's quicker to say no, and manually restart your computer after you have removed all the programs you wish to remove.

Once you rebooted, you're done! Keep doing this and your computer should continue working great for you!
