How To Increase Link Popularity For Free Search Engine Traffic

One of the best ways (if not the best) to get your site listed on the first page of the search engines is to increase link popularity for it. But buying links or using automated "link management" services is no longer effective as the search engines have "wised up" to a lot of these systems and practises. This technique no gives you the ability to dominate the first page of the search engines with relative ease. And it works like gangbusters.
The major search engines of Google, MSN and Yahoo all use link popularity as a major indicator of how popular a website is, and therefore how high it should rank for a given search term. But they are also very well aware of all the automated link management tools and the sites where you can text links, and consequently, if you're using these techniques, it's very likely that nay links gained this way will be discounted and ignored - rendering them completely useless and ineffective.
So when we launch a site and start to get incoming links, we need to make it as natural as possible. The good news is that is can be very easy if you know how to go about it in a structured way.
In a series of 4 articles, this being part 1, I'm going to explain the exact approach and techniques I use to gain an ever increasing number of natural links to my site, with virtually no effort at all, and with no outsourcing costs involved.

In the first part of this series I want to cover the easiest technique which you can start to use today. This involves using articles for linking, but will also generate some fast traffic from the hordes of article directories we're going to have access to. But don't flake out thinking you're heard all about article marketing before - this is a very new, unique and highly effective twist on a proven method.
There's 2 methods I use for building backlinks with articles - first I submit a unique article to a list of some of the top article directories online, and second, I use a brand new automated submission service that submits unique versions of a single article to up to 600 different articles directories. This automated system has been responsible for creating a steadily increasing number of links to my sites all on auto pilot.
If you're familiar with article marketing, you're no doubt well aware of the benefits of submitting unique articles to directories like ezinearticles.com and goarticles.com. But here's a couple more you may not be aware of that are equally effective - if not more so:
Helium.com BigArticles.com PheedCentral.com EzineArticles.com ArticlesFactory.com SearchWarp.com GoArticles.com
All these sites have great PR and are seen as "authority" sites by the big search engines - which means a link from these sites to yours, via your article, will carry a lot of weight towards your link popularity. I recommend you submit a unique article to each directory for greater impact in the engines (I'll explain why in a future article).
OK - so we now have 7 permanent high PR incoming links to your site. My second technique is going to explode this to over 600 incoming links, and will be even easier than the first technique. This approach involves the use of a new semi automated system called Unique Article Wizard.
UAW is unique in 2 ways - 1 is that it's the only application out there than do this, and 2 is well, I'll come #2 in a minute Unique Article Wizard will submit a unique version of your article to each of over 600 different article directories, all of which are indexed and ranked by Google (and MSN and Yahoo). That means you'll get over 600 additional backlinks to your site with one simple action, and if your site is brand new, it will get indexed by the search engines in lightening speed - sometimes in a matter of hours.
The second real benefit of UAW is that each article it submits to all these article directories will be unique. The system has a very neat twist that means it will literally create hundreds of unique versions of your article automatically - and it won't be gobble-de-gook or machine generated garbage that no could or would ever want to read.
If you understand the issues of duplicate content and search engine rankings, you'll know this is a very powerful feature. If you're not familiar with duplicate content penalties, don't worry about for now - just know that is huge benefit of this software.
