Internet marketing can be simplified into 3 simple processes. They are: Providing value for your visitor, making that value known to your visitor and delivering that value to your visitor
Certainly one of the most important parts of internet marketing success is a valuable product. Even if you are recommending the products of other marketers you have to be sure that they are delivering value with their products.
Believe it or not most online affiliate marketers do not care in the least if the seller of the products they recommend is providing value to their visitors. Most affiliates only care about receiving a check.
They think that as long as their visitor buys through their affiliate link then they're home free. That's so far from the truth it's just crazy.
Let me ask you a question. What do you think will happen if the visitor ends up buying a recommended product through your affiliate link and it turns out to be garbage?
It does not take a genius to know that if the product is junk then the buyer will most likely request to get their money back. Even worse if they purchased through an affiliate link from an email promotion they will probably unsubscribe from that list. Not only has the affiliate lost a quality prospect but they also do not get the commission.
The same is true if you're selling your own product. If it doesn't give value to the customer, in other words somehow benefit them in the way you claim then they'll most likely get a refund and they'll probably never buy from you again.
Here's the bottom line if the product doesn't give real value to your subscriber or visitor then move on to something that does.
If you have chosen the route of internet affiliate then choose a niche that has lots of high quality products to promote. The time it takes to find good quality products will be more than worth your effort.
If you sell your own products and aren't able to create a product of great value to your customer then no worries. You can outsource the creation of the product. Guru's do it every day.
