Discover The Ultimate Bermuda Cruise

DISCOVER THE ULTIMATE BERMUDA CRUISE by David Kelly

Stealing away on an exotic cruise to a tropical paradise can be a vacation that you will remember for the rest of your life. It may come as a shock to you that this dream can become a reality a lot easier than you might think, because the beautiful pink sandy beaches and clear blue waters of Bermuda are only six hundred miles away from the South Carolina coast.

But what is considered a perfect cruise for young singles could prove to be a nightmare for families with small children. Similarly, seniors may find a more sedate and relaxed pace to be perfect for their taste, while honeymooning couples headed for Bermuda could easily find the same atmosphere to be extremely unromantic.

I am going to be examining a number of the more important aspects that make up the ideal Bermuda cruise, as well as the essential elements that will make sure that every group has the most pleasant experience.

For example, singles will generally consider the ideal Bermuda cruise to be one that allows them to party all night long. But the fact is the majority of cruise ships only have about a half a dozen bars or lounges, although one Bermuda cruise contains an astonishing sixteen bars and lounges. Can I hear you say PARTY? Well it doesn't take a genius to recognize which cruise ship the singles crowd will have more fun on.

And it's exactly the same when it comes to swimming pools. A number of ships only have one swimming pool, but it's really clear that the singles crowd will have a much better time and a far greater selection of potential partners on one of the two Bermuda cruise ships that contain four swimming pools. There's sure to be a lot more poolside action on those babies.

But for families, what an ideal Bermuda cruise should be like is quite different. For instance, in the evening most parents will expect to be able to leave their kids with a babysitter. It's assumed that the cruise line will supply this service. Unfortunately for some unhappy travelers, this is not the case with one of the Bermuda cruise lines. A parent of young children would find it less than ideal to be on one of their ships.

On the other hand, teens don't like being trapped with their family throughout the day, so it's an ideal situation that a number of Bermuda cruise lines offer 'Teen Shore Excursions' to allow them to venture off, under qualified supervision of course, but in the company of people their own age. Any parent of a teen would definitely benefit from being on one of the ships offering this service.

Senior's on the other hand, unlike families and singles, consider the ultimate Bermuda cruise to be quite different. They much prefer their vacation to be conducted at a more relaxed pace.

But not all of the so called cultural enrichment classes that are offered to seniors are as perfect as they are touted to be. They don't all cover such interesting things as wine tasting, digital photography, foreign languages, oil painting and archeology. In fact, some Bermuda cruise ships don't have any classes at all and just settle for backgammon and shuffleboard. That doesn't seem too perfect to me.

Now if a senior is a golfer, they will be delighted to discover that a small handful of cruises provide a golf pro, along with the latest simulator technology to help him improve your swing. One large cruise line even went so far as to build a driving range that can be used during the day and at night. But be aware that, for some unexplained reason, some companies have absolutely no golf amenities at all.

It has often been said that stealing away on a Bermuda cruise, and watching the sun setting over the ocean with the one you love by your side, is the most romantic thing in the world, so it doesn't surprise me that Modern Bride magazine voted Bermuda as one of the best honeymoon resort destinations in the world.

If you happen to be looking for a perfect honeymoon you're going to want to make sure you are on the couple of ships that offer 'in-cabin' spa treatments, a dozen roses rather than a single puny long stem, and this is the clincher, a personal invite from the captain to tour the bridge. Now those kinds of little touches could make a Bermuda honeymoon or a wedding cruise extra perfect, don't you think?

This article has tried to point out just a few of the critical elements that can help ensure that you have a great Bermuda cruise; one that is custom designed to meet your own specific Bermuda vacation needs.

There are clearly great gaps in the services offered by the various companies, and we can't cover them all here of course, but for more information on how to make your trip to Bermuda more perfect, and in particular the best ships to take, then please visit me at the website listed below and I'd be delighted to help you choose the perfect Bermuda cruise for you.
