This is extremely unlikely though, as people play the game for fun, and it is always easy to find someone willing to quest with you just for the experience of the quest. Otherwise, why would they be playing?
While mercenary work is unrealistic, production is not. There are many special items that are difficult to find or acquire, and it can easily make money producing valuable items for sale to other players or to vendors. Of course, you must be high enough level in the relevant skill to be able to use it.
