Leather Backpack Purse To Fit It All In |

Have you ever noticed that women have so many things to carry around with them? Whenever I am away from home I have my handbag with me. In it I have the necessities that seemed to be needed when I am out and about. My husband is always questioning the need to have so many things. He has his wallet with cash, identification, check card and credit card and in his pocket he carries his small cell phone, a nail clipper and his keys. He does not see a need for anything else. I have explained that it is a rare occasion that my clothing would look nice if I had all these things shoved into pockets, and that there are many times that I do not have pockets in what I have on. I do know that there are things in my purse that I have placed in that I have forgotten about which adds to the weight, but I am not one that switches handbags very often.
Last year I developed a form of arthritis that involves the lower back as well as the shoulder joints. It was causing me a great deal of pain to carry a shoulder bag. I decided to look for a different alternative. I settled for a leather backpack purse. My husband laughed when he saw my solution. The leather backpack purse was twice the size of the handbag I had been carrying, but it was still smaller than a normal backpack. I explained to him that when I go out on appointments from work I carry a brief case in addition to my purse. The main thing I need in the briefcase is my appointment book and also a book of resource numbers for the families that I work with. I thought if I would carry the leather backpack purse during work I could put everything I need into it.
I walk several blocks to see the families on my caseload so I could just put on the backpack that evenly distributes the weight and this would not put any strain on my shoulders. The nice feature is that inside the leather backpack purse is a smaller version of the pack. It looks the same but is several sizes smaller. This is where I carry all the things that I would ordinarily have in my purse.
When I am not working it is an easy thing to grab and place on my back. He tried it on and realized that it would feel better than having it hanging on your shoulder. I am trying to cut down on the amount I carry with me, but each time I consider leaving something out I feel I would be lost without it. I think my clothes would look quite strange if I tried to jam everything in the pockets that I have in my purse.
