Getting the children to read can be a challenge and a half. The trick is to get them started at a very young age. Just to give you an idea, my wife and I began reading to our daughter when she was still an infant. This way by the time they're two, they can start examining "touch books" and animated texts of their own. Then once they hit four or five, they can get some real terms down. Suddenly they are reading in kindergarten, and some even earlier. Sounds pretty awesome, huh? Okay, so we're all aware of how crucial reading is to our learning process. So why not let the kids choose some of their own books. I guarantee they will be more apt to read them if they pick them out.
