Wow Power Leveling- People Take It To Far

By: Alex Richardson

When I first started to play World of Warcraft online, I thought that it was one of the coolest games out there. Sure, I was a newbie in a world of powerful wizards and fighters, but that did not matter very much. I had lots and lots of time, and I knew that I would soon be defeating the best of them. I am pretty good at video games – many of my friends will not even play against me because of the fact that I always win. I figured that WOW Warcraft 3 would be like any other game. I didn't, however, think of one thing. I never knew about WOW power leveling.

I actually caught on pretty slowly to the existence of World of Warcraft powerleveling. It was several months before I could tell that something pretty fishy was going on. It happened one afternoon just after I logged on. I had won a pretty hard fought battle just the day before, and the guy seemed to take it pretty personally. He told me that he would come back for revenge, but I could tell that it would be a while before he could really compete with me. To my surprise, he was online again, and he attacked as soon as he saw me. He was much more powerful than before – about twice as experienced, actually. I didn't know about WOW power leveling, but I knew that something weird was going on. He beat me too easily for it to be a fluke.

When I looked it up, I found about out enough about WOW power leveling to make me completely sick. Apparently, some people are so completely crazy about their game play that they use WOW power leveling gold to up their character stats. Basically, they pay some service to rapidly advance their character. As a result, they get to be more powerful than any of the normal players without putting in the time to get good. Not only is it not fair, but WOW powerleveling really ruins the game. Suddenly, it isn't about advancing your character by engaging in a realistic simulation. It is about who is most willing to waste money and cheat! It made me not want to play anymore. After all, cheating ruins the game. For those of us playing fair, it is really depressing to see a newbie with god-like powers rip things up!
