Money clips are wonderful organizational tools that don’t require a lot of room. Even if you have a well designed wallet you may want to consider one of these devices for your free cash. You typically don’t see too many of these cash holders around but they are gaining in popularity. Following are some occasions that call for money clips as well as different designs and reasons for choosing this holder for your personal use. If you carry any cash, then you definitely want to entertain the idea of owning one of the many money clips on the market today.
Special occasions call for special icons that hold memories. My husband has five money clips and each one has a fond memory attached to it. One was a gift from his father. When my husband was a child, he used to work with his dad on different home renovation projects. These projects became a source of inspiration.
His father gave him one of his first money clips with a dollar bill in it to represent the first dollar he earned. My husband still has the cash holder and he still has the very same dollar given to him by his dad. This is one of the money clips that do not leave our fireproof safe. It is just too precious to use.
The second item that doesn’t see the light of day very often is an antique money clip that I gave to my husband on our wedding day. I sent it to him via his best man with a note. The clip holds no cash but it still holds the note that is now yellow with age. I have no idea how much this antique is worth on the market but I know that it is priceless to us.
Other items are far more utilitarian. Money clips are not just for sentimental occasion and fond memories. They do serve a purpose for many that choose to use them. My husband has money clips on him at all times. He likes to keep a little cash separate from his wallet and the holders are ideal for keeping free cash safe.
He also keeps one in his wallet as well. The money clip divides small bills from larger ones so he can access small or large bills with ease. No matter if you mostly use credit or debit cards, money clips can still come in very handy.
