Hollywood Party Supplies

By: Richard Browning

I discovered theme parties about the age of 13, And for a whole year after I thought that they were the coolest thing ever. I tried all kinds of things out and attended other people's themed parties. I have been to pirate themed parties, ninja turtle theme parties, and just about anything else you could imagine. My favorite of all, however, were Hollywood theme parties. Once I found a Hollywood party supply store, I was hooked.

It may sound a little bit silly, but I have always been completely obsessed with movies. My house was practically filled with Hollywood party supplies to begin with. I had movie posters from practically every film I had liked since the age of 11. I had cardboard cutouts of all kinds of celebrities from the dawn of the motion picture up to the modern age. Getting Hollywood theme party supplies for me was just a matter of filling in the details. Most of the rest of the work was already done.

It is easy to get Hollywood party supplies for people who don't know anything about the movies. Basically, anything with cameras, lights, and directors chairs would work. Going to a Hollywood party supply store that would impress my cultured friends, however, was a little bit difficult. I realized that there is nothing that really screams Los Angeles Hollywood parties besides debauchery. Sure, Marilyn Monroe cutouts and Groucho Marx glasses were pretty catchy when I was 13, but in college I needed something better. That is when I realized that theme parties for grown-ups have less to do with how the room is decorated than with how people dress up.

Nowadays, my Hollywood party supplies are mostly for my own costume. The rest of the house is already set up in a movie kind of theme anyway. We have dress as a celebrity parties all the time, and every time everyone has to come as someone different. Nowadays, I have practically a whole closet filled with Hollywood party supplies. I have suits and tuxedos, capes and swords, cowboy hats and fez hats. Every party has to be more glamorous and extravagant than the last, and I am expecting people to run out of steam pretty soon. Fortunately, it hasn't happened yet. I hold the Hollywood parties and my girlfriend holds the pirate parties. Together, we keep our friends entertained with one of the best social scenes on the whole entire college campus.
