Serta Memory Foam Mattress

   By: Lane Klein

The human body requires a certain amount of sleep each night. When we're infants or toddlers, this amounts to about 14 solid hours a night. Yes, those were the days. Not to mention the nap time we used to enjoy every day. Then you grow up a bit and the amount of sleep decreases to about 10-12 hours a night. By the time you reach adulthood, you still require around 8-9 hours a night. Since the body has finished growing, less is required. Now, do you want to know what's crucial in this process, other than a quiet environment? The mattress you're sleeping on. If it's hard, lumpy, too soft, bulging with coils or all of the above, you're most likely not going to sleep well. That nightly slumber turns into many hours of tossing and turning. YUCK! Maybe what's missing from your life is a Serta memory foam mattress. This contemporary bed is the BOMB!

The astronauts were the first ones to test them out. You've heard the stories. That's why some people refer to the Serta memory foam mattress as space foam. Apparently they took these babies on the shuttle with them. What I can't figure out is how they laid down on them. I always thought astronauts slept in a sleeping bag of sorts on the wall. Hey, wait a minute; maybe it's just called space foam because it's so high-tech. Regardless, the Serta memory foam mattress is ideal. Let me tell you why. It has no coils and it doesn't collect dust mites. You simply lay down on it and it contours to your body. It's awesome not having coils spear you in the back half way through the night. I purchased a Serta memory foam mattress for my daughter about a year ago, and she loves hers. One thing she told me specifically is that her hands no longer fall asleep from stifled circulation. She can lie how she pleases. That's a huge benefit.

The original Serta memory foam mattress is still booming, but it's not the only thing out there anymore. You may have noticed that there are a variety of memory foam based mattresses these days. Dormia is one of the companies that offer these. I am very satisfied with the memory foam/latex mattress I purchased from them last spring. It's a major step up from the traditional one I had.
