There is nothing more welcoming and comfortable than a fresh, clean home.
Adding a little fresh scent into the house has become a common ritual for
many homeowners. Air fresheners come in many forms. While having a lot of
choices is wonderful it can also make choosing the right product for your
specific needs a little daunting.
You may be feeling a little confused as to which products will work best for
your home. Consider some of the different options in air fresheners and you
will narrow down your search to one or two items that will do the trick.
It is very easy to over do it when it comes to air freshners. There are so
many options available that you can easily purchase too many freshening
products which will only serve to leave your home smelling heavy and
flowery. There is nothing appealing about that.
The first thing that you want to do is consider your specific needs. If you
have a lot of little ones running around you will probably want to forgo air
fresheners like scented candles and Glade Air Effects. The Air Effects
product uses scented oils that are highly concentrated. Since the product is
burned you may want to skip it if you have small children.
Other options include products like sprays and fabric refreshers. These
products are great in small doses but you will have to get in the habit of
using them on a daily basis. Again, these are air freshners that don’t gel
well with little ones. You really want to use these products when the kids
are out of the area until the fumes have time to settle.
You may be wondering which air fresheners are ideal for homes with little
ones. I love to use freshening devices like Glade Plug-Ins that simply plug
into a socket and dispel the aroma into the air. The product needs to be
replaced every month but that sure beats daily spraying.
Another great option is the Febreze Scent Stories. These air freshners are
wonderful because they really let you control the amount of fragrance that
is dispelled and they also have automatic shut-off devices that keep you
from using the product when you really don’t need it.
Other products to consider include gels and crystals that are slowly
absorbed into the air. These air fresheners are great if you want really
subtle fragrances that won’t overwhelm the space. I like to use these in
smaller rooms.
Air fresheners have come a long way over the years. Products are becoming
more and more intricate but you really just need to consider your own home.
You may find that a little air spray will do the trick for you.
