Candles have been used for centuries to light up a room or an area, but today they are primarily used for worship and for decorative purposes. It is this second reason that there are now many makers of unique candles. Candles can be made unique by making them in your very own design and in creating designs that are one of a kind.
There are unique candles in a sense that they are different from the traditional candles, not just in their shape and size, but in the way they are made or by their designs. Below are several examples of unique candles.
Some Unique Candles
Some one-of-a-kind candles can be made so by creating a unique design. Creating candles can be done simply by adding pressed flowers or by carving or otherwise placing a design right on the candle. Adding or creating designs on candles is one way of making them unique. Other design ideas might be to craft them in the shape of an object like a piece of fruit or a character in a cartoon.
Luminaries are very unique candles in the sense that they are hollowed out candle containers that are made of wax. These luminaries can be designed to be anything the artist wants them to be, as long as they have a hollow pit or center. This hollow is where the votive is placed. Once the votive is lit, the entire luminary is illuminated, creating a very beautiful spectacle.
Other unique candles are those that have colored flames. These are usually used for birthdays to make the cakes more festive and colorful. Children and adults alike will be amazed at the color coordinated candles. There are also colored-flame candles as small as tea lights, which are used for decorative purpose in the house as well.
Other people have also come up with a design that makes the candles in containers look like pickled fruit or candied preserves. These unique candles in containers are usually made with gel candle products to make them look more realistic. They look mouthwateringly real and some even look good enough to eat.
These are but a few of the wide variety of unique candles available worldwide. There are many more unique candles that will amaze and inspire awe in people. Care must be exercised when burning candles since they can cause accidents and fires when not used appropriately. Be careful when moving any type of candle, since most have a pool of melted wax at the base of the wick which may burn you if it comes in contact with your skin.
