Volkswagen Beetle Convertible Rivalry |

There are few cars that have stood the test of time like the Volkswagen Beetle. I remember this model on the road years and years ago and I am thrilled to see the automobile re-emerging on the scene in the form of the Volkswagen Beetle convertible. Now there are more reasons to love this little car.
I was always interested in this brand of automobile. My sister and I used to count the number of “punch bugs” we saw on the road and if we ever spotted a Volkswagen Beetle convertible, we acted as if we hit the lottery. Funny how something like a little car could be so exciting for kids.
Well, some things never change. My sister called me in the middle of the day to tell me that she had something urgent to share. I knew that it was important because she never calls me from the office unless something important was going on. I was a little surprised to find out that she just wanted to announce that the new Volkswagen Beetle convertible was on the market.
While I knew that she would be excited to discover that our favorite vehicle from childhood was available brand new today, I didn’t think that the Volkswagen Beetle convertible would be an earth-shaking event that would warrant a call from the office in the middle of a work day.
That was, until I rode in the Volkswagen Beetle convertible that my sister wound up buying the very weekend after it hit the market. The vehicle is deceptively large inside. I had plenty of headroom and a lot of room to stretch my legs. I’m not all that tall, but many cars don’t offer as much leg room as the Volkswagen Beetle convertible.
She purchased one that is a deep, dark blue color that looks almost black in certain lighting. This Volkswagen Beetle convertible is top-of-the-line in my estimation and I was feeling a little jealous of my younger sister. I figured that I needed to address my problems with sibling rivalry.
There is no better way to address sibling rivalry than matching the purchase. I was thrilled to find that a Volkswagen Beetle convertible is remarkably cheap compared to many other comparable cars on the market today. I couldn’t afford not to keep up with my little sister.
Of course, I bought an entirely different Volkswagen Beetle convertible. Mine is red. I think that this color stands out way better than blue.
