My father and my brother are both very good artists. While my brother seems to have more talent drawing with pen and pencil, my father is great with a set of oil paints. Sadly, none of this artistic talent seems to have come to me. I am a very creative person, but I cannot draw to save my life. At one point I found a kit in the store that promised that I could learn how to draw. After a few frustrating hours I knew that there was nothing anyone could do to help me draw anything other than perhaps a lopsided heart.
If you want to learn how to draw, you may not want to spend any money on it unless you have at least some talent. When it comes to drawing I am a hopeless case, but I think most people have a little more talent than I do. If not, I would hate to see their attempts. There are many ways you can learn how to draw, one of the best ways to go to art school. For most people though, this is an expense and also not something you want to do on a whim. If you want a good degree from an art school, he have to attend class for at least two years.
If you stroll through your local bookstore, you may find kits that help you learn how to draw. I got one of these kits, but I can’t say it’s done me any good. I don’t blame it on the kit, as I know it is my bumbling fingers the caused me to fail. I have seen many different types, and my brother said he has used one to help him with something needs that he has problems with. To know that someone with his talent still needs to learn how to draw some things, makes me seem all the more hopeless.
You have probably seen ads in the paper and ask you to draw something and send it into a school. They then will send you something back offering to give you the opportunity to learn how to draw. Though I realize the school is legitimate, I think they take anyone who is willing to pay the tuition price. After I sent in what had to be the worst drawing ever, they told me that I had potential to learn how to draw very well. Right then and there I knew that anyone could get in. Most are schools do not have any requirements, all you need is the tuition, and the drive to learn.
