The date is drawing near, and there is so much more planning to do. You've got the dress and the tux is on the way; you've hired an officiant or made arrangements with your minister; the rings are almost finished; the cake is being crafted to perfection; and you've finally gotten your license to tie the knot. The funny thing about my wedding is that this was the last thing we decided on, even after the honeymoon and all. The date was pretty close before we had the exact venue arranged. Needless to say, the wedding invitations got out a bit late.

Also keep in mind the guests when searching for those perfect wedding venues. How far they have to travel can be an issue if you're not simply eloping.
