If there's one thing our great nation could always use more of, it's police officers. But you don't have to take my word for it; it's clear by the increase of salary they've had over the past years. I can still recall back in the 90s when my father would complain about how bad a law enforcement officer's salary was. He would always compare it to a doctor's wages. He stated that they saved lives too; so why such a small compensation for doing so? Hmm, not a bad point. And law enforcement officers actually put themselves in harm's way to help others.
