If you like attention, you may like light up jewelry. You will be hard to ignore if you are wearing any, and you may find people come up to you because you seem like a fun person. There is something a little crazy about anyone who wears it, so if you want to meet fun, new people, put some on before you go out. Just remember that anything that attracts fun people can also attract the loons, so have your guard up and be prepared. Also, don’t expect to blend into the crowd.
I don’t have any light up jewelry, but I do have some that I gave to my daughter. Though she likes them for the obvious reasons any child would like them, that’s not necessarily why I got it for her. My daughter and I like to go to a lot of concerts together, and the light up jewelry makes it very easy for me to find her if she gets it in her head to run off. Though she is usually pretty easy to find at children’s shows, there are moments when she runs off too far and I have to panic.

If she is missing (which has only happened once and only momentarily thank goodness) I can tell those helping me to look for the little girl with long brown hair and the light up jewelry. The one time she was missing we found her in two minutes, though they were the longest two minutes of my life.
The best thing about light up jewelry is that it doesn’t have to cost a lot, and there are times when you may find that someone is giving the stuff away for free. We once got a light up heart this way, and we used it for a long time. You can find light up jewelry in stores, but you may find it more easily at events geared towards children as well as fairs or amusement parks. You can also find light up jewelry online, and you may be able to buy it cheaply in bulk if you want to give them away at a community event, birthday party, or any school event.
