I have always adored stained glass window panes. When I was a child, I used to love to be sitting in the chapel, looking out the church stained glass windows. The way the light filtered through into the church, it made me really believe what the preacher was saying. You need to have it installed by professional, you see. You can install normal windows yourself, but if you install a stained glass window by hand, you are just asking for trouble. You may pay up to a thousand dollars for one stained glass window pane. Can you imagine breaking that while trying to install it? It would be a nightmare!
I found a beautiful Tiffany stained glass window that fit the bill perfectly. Although the company did not offer installation, I was fortunate enough to have a friend who knows all about stained glass windows. He installed it himself for a reasonable rates. It is absolutely gorgeous, and it adds a unique touch to my house. It was worth the expense.
