Once we graduate from college, we realize that we may be "in the hole" a bit. It's all good though. At this point it's fairly natural to have some debt with student loans and past expenses. The good news is you're now headed for the work force. Soon you'll be earning a REAL income and basking in the perks of a college education. But let's not forget about all those text books you purchased each quarter/semester. Since your University days are done, there's really no valid reason to hang onto them. It's time to start selling books, my friend. This is one way you can earn a few extra bucks to pay off that college debt.
Back when I was in college, which really wasn't long ago at all, I strived to accumulate the most money I could. Each quarter I looked for new ways to save, and more ways to get things for less. My college ID became my best friend. There is plenty to be saved with this handy tool. Then there were the countless text books. Every term I had to by more. Now, the ones I had already made use of in past courses were now irrelevant. This is why I began selling books. I did this regularly. At first I was naive, and took them back to the campus bookstore in a desperate attempt for any cash I could muster. Boy was this useless. They will give you nothing for text books. It doesn't matter that you purchased them from the campus bookstore. They want to give a fraction of what you paid them, and sometimes nothing at all. Basically this means that you shouldn't bother with them. Take your old texts and start selling books to fellow students. They need them, and they'd much rather buy them from you for less than what the campus bookstore sells them for. This is a great way to earn cash at the end of each term. Simply print out a sheet with your books for sale listed and your contact information. Post this around campus and you'll receive some call-backs.
There are alternative ways to selling books. Amazon.com is a popular one these days. Pull up this website and see how you can start selling your college text books online. Heck, you might as well make money off of them. Otherwise they just add more clutter to your new abode.
