A party is a time for friends to gather and share stories, maybe reminiscing about “back in the day”. You can add a lively atmosphere when conversing with guests, with a simple decorating idea. The latex balloon is always there to quell your decorating woes. At any occasion or event where a party is due, the latex balloon is sure to be found. They come in in every color imaginable, with patterns and shapes to match any party theme.
A latex balloon has likely been in your home, or at some function you've attended. Balloons are pretty and fun, creating a nice ambiance for your party. They're like colored cushions of air, floating merrily about the room. Latex balloons may be filled with helium or air. Helium filled balloons float and can be tucked in corners, clustered against a wall, cover the entire ceiling, tied around your wrist with a string, or attached to a mailbox, showing there's a party inside!
You may have seen the most basic arrangements of balloons, such as tied to a table leg or even elaborate arches of the oxygen filled decorations gracefully placed at the end of a walkway. These balloons are inexpensive, so this party decoration can cheaply brighten up a room or garden area. Take a look at some of the ways you can use latex balloons for your party.
Balloon archways are showy and fun. These are made using a mesh metal frame, with air filled balloons tied into the mesh. These are good for weddings, bridal showers, sweet sixteen parties and homecoming dances. There may be a latex balloon arch placed at the guest entrance, or the spot where the guest of honor makes their appearance. If you choose to make a balloon archway, make sure that it's wide enough for two guests to walk side by side.
Another way to put the latex balloon to use is to decorate the ceiling! A popular theme is “night sky”. To achieve this look, you'll need two black balloons for every one white balloon, and a tank of helium. Fill the black balloons to their full capacity, and just let them float to the ceiling! Then fill the white balloons just one third full. The tiny white balloons against the vast “night sky” will give the illusion of stars dotting a dark sky.
