What do you believe? This is a broad question, I know. It can actually be applied to pretty much anything. However, I was referring more to the supernatural side of things. Do you have a religions or creed? How do you feel about the afterlife, heaven, hell, and reincarnation? These are subjects that often make people uncomfortable, but always leave them curious. We humans are obsessed with death. We want to know what happens after it, and if there was ever anything before this life we know. Just take a look at those who follow past life astrology. They're clearly intrigued by something. Something that lies beyond their reach.
Remember that guy on the Scifi channel? I think is name was John Edwards. What was his deal anyway? The guy was obsessed with past life astrology, speaking with the dead, and telling the audience he was having some sort of visions. Quite vague visions if I recall correctly. Isn't this typical of these "psychics?" They always reel-off something so vague or trite that it can't be wrong. "I'm seeing the color red. Does that mean anything to you and your dead husband?" Uhh, gee, well let me think about that one. Then you have the gullible sap blundering out that his car was red or his favorite jacket. Give me a break! I watched about three of these "Crossing Over" shows until I got a life. I guess I', a bit dubious when it comes to psychic abilities, communication with the dead and past life astrology. Can you really blame me? These rare blessed individuals should at least give us something more to go on.
My father told me once about his past life. He recalls soaring through the sky. Apparently he has frequent dreams about this. Sounds like past life astrology to me. Anyway, my favorite part is when he says "I must have been an eagle or something." Yeah, or something anyway. Why didn't he say he must have been a sparrow or even a mere mosquito? I'm afraid that would not be near as cool as being an eagle. The one bird that represents our great nation. Okay, I admit it; I'm putting my father's past life astrology notion through the ringer. I guess when it comes down to it, I'm always a skeptic.
