If there's one simple truth about having your own place to live, it's this; you want it to smell nice. At least if you're a dignified human being. Granted some college guys won't make this list. That goes without saying. As for all the rest of us, we like our homes to smell great. This goes double for when company is coming over. Surely you've noticed this. Imagine that your husband's buddy and his wife are coming over for dinner. What's the first thing you do? You start rummaging through drawers and cabinets for candles. You're going to pull out as many as you can find and light them up. Hopefully they're the fragrance ones like from Bath and Bodyworks. Or maybe you're one of those hippy types who do the incense thing. Actually I don't recommend this. Incense only smells delightful to a few humans. Patchoulis is certainly not for everyone. Now, if you truly want to make a great impression, the product to go with now days is the Febreze scentstories player. This baby can really put out the fine aromas. Not to mention you get to listen to that wonderful ambient sound.
I can't help but wonder who comes up with such things. The Febreze scentstories player is kind of like that alarm clock that awakens you to a babbling brook or calm rainforest. Not that the alarm clock was a bad idea. I totally love the thing. I keep it in the garage next to my light bulb alarm clock that glows brighter and brighter like the sun in order to wake me from a long night's sleep. But seriously, the Febreze scentstories player is a different story. No human being can tire of natural fragrances in their home. As stated before, we all want our homes to smell great. It makes such a lasting impression on those who come into our house. Especially since smell is the strongest sense tied to memory. I fully admit that I have pleasant memories of visiting certain homes because it smelled so nice inside.
Plug-ins are another big one. I doubt we'll be seeing the end of these any time soon. Imagine what you could do with several pug-in air fresheners and a Febreze scentstories player on each floor of your home. You could have the sweetest smelling residence on the block. Always remember to keep your home smelling clean. You never know when someone might pop in.
