is called Viral Marketing because what your doing is writing
fresh syndicated articles which you can use on your own website
or for your newsletter to increase return visits. Then you take
these same articles and grant permission for other websites,
newsletter and e-zine publishers to use your articles in their
publications. This produces lots of links back to your web page
and also an opportunity to attract people who are looking for
what you have to offer.
A Few Tips For Writing Articles: Don't count on people reading
your entire article word for word. Most people scan through an
article trying to pick up the information they're looking for.
Therefore use.... highlighted keywords (hypertext links serve as
one form of highlighting; typeface variations and color are
others) meaningful subheadings (not "clever" ones) bulleted
lists one idea per paragraph (users will skip over any
additional ideas if they are not caught by the first few words
in the paragraph) the inverted pyramid style, starting with the
conclusion half the word count (or less) than conventional
writing use outbound hypertext links it increases credibility
don't be a boaster claiming to have the "the best ever"
