basic stats programs are available through some Web hosts, we wanted to increase the depth and
width of information about the activity on the client’s
site.

Clients’ feedback and years of experience in
analyzing web site activity made it clear to the
development team that additional
characteristics were essential to give a total
evaluation of site activity. The stats program had to
be:
- Easy to load
- Easily readable
- Non- intrusive on the site [if desired]
- Comprehensive in content
- Free to the Client
Once the development team had established these
criteria they rolled up their sleeves and went to work.
Seeking to not only provide the requirements above but
also to expound on content to include who visited, where
they came from, where they went and how long they
stayed. This would be a big task. It would also be worth
the effort to give web site information this valuable to
the client.
Those goals were met and more! The finished product
emerged as an all in one tracking and statistics tool
that will monitor all web traffic activities. It’s
simple to install, has easy to read colorful graphics,
well organized text information,
and to top off all the above IT’S TOTALLY FREE up to
1,000 hits per week!!
Article DirectoryThe article directory is offered as a resource to our ever-expanding community of hit counter users, many of whom visit this site daily, and to general site visitors. We initially started the article directory as a resource for Internet business issues (e.g. Web design information, hosting information, site promotion tips, search engine optimization tips, marketing, etc.) that our burgeoning community of hit counter users would find useful. We soon realized that our community was composed of users with many different viewpoints, interests, and aspirations, so we decided to offer a more diverse collection of information. With that goal in mind, we developed a well-organized general directory of articles across a wide range of topics - not just Internet business issues.
